The tour will give you a satisfaction of understanding and passion equal to or greater than that shown by our guides and the people who work at Hacienda Venecia, and you will be able to put the traditional cup of coffee in context in a completely new way.

EXPERIENCE DETAILS:

Our tour begins with a delicious cup of coffee, and we will give you a general introduction to the world of coffee, where you will learn about its origin and history, its worldwide distribution, the different varieties and qualities, and also its aromas and properties.

After the perfect, energizing morning cup, the interactive tour continues with a walk through the plantation to learn more about cultivation and harvesting. We will accompany you to visit the beneficiadero (coffee processing facility), to learn about the processing and marketing of coffee; you will be able to analyze and tell the difference between a perfectly roasted coffee bean and a coffee bean that can be rejected in just a matter of seconds. You will have the opportunity to taste and see coffee beans with different degrees of roasting to experience the different aromas, since roasting brings out the aroma and flavor found inside green coffee beans. This heat process turns the green coffee bean into the fragrant, dark brown beans that we know and love.
