Finca Romelia Orchids and Birds

Finca Romelia is a family farm on the road to La Cabaña, on the outskirts of Manizales. José and Marisa have been collecting orchids for half their lives, and today they open the nursery, the bonsai garden and the main house to anyone who arrives with a reservation.

There are two ways to get to know it. The orchid tour walks along the trails between crops, passes through the nurseries and ends with a class on orchids and a snack. The bird tour starts early, with a picnic breakfast and a checklist of the species on the farm.

Open tours leave at a set time and private tours are organized for groups of four or more.
