Casa Mariana is a project that grew out of the empowerment of a group of women whose life concept is "sovereignty." It seeks to give value and meaning to their lives through community work and their own well-being, producing every good and service as much as possible in an autonomous and self-sustaining way. Visitors are also offered a lodging or guesthouse experience where they can get to know and interact with this project. The motto at Casa Mariana is not only to host, but to give visitors a home-like atmosphere that lets them fall in love with Salamina under the motto "Mi Casa es Tu Casa" ("My home is your home"). – Mariana Grisales Mejía
