Did you know that this unforgettable municipality is creating the Ruta de la Madera (Wood Route)? It already offers a short tour that shows you the entire process of working with wood, from planting to making the handcrafted objects. Pueblo Nuevo: a corner of tradition and natural beauty A few kilometers from Pensilvania lies this village, an oasis of tranquility. You will walk along its trails surrounded by lush forests, and you can also visit the Espíritu Santo hot springs, 20 minutes from Pueblo Nuevo, just across the río Samaná into the department of Antioquia.
Piamonte and Morrón, the hills you climb on foot Piamonte can be seen from the town center and is the guardian hill of Pensilvania. Since the 1940s, people have climbed it along a zigzag path praying the Rosary, and in May people walk it together as a community. The Morrón hill, the same one that appears on the municipality's coat of arms, is another place to hike and take in the landscape.
