5 kilometers southeast of the town, along a rural district road, are the Chorros de Palmichal: the water flows down the rocks and falls into a crystal-clear pool. The Chorros de la Moravia, in the La Moravia rural district, fall freely inside the Santa Clara forest, and to get there you have to walk a good stretch through the countryside. Without leaving the town center, next to the sports complex, the Reserva Doña Ana has trails among native flora and fauna.
